Bangin' away on the Tama Swingstar was simply euphoric... well maybe not... haha... that's just exaggerated... but at least i had my first formal practical music lesson today... which is quite a milestone... albeit a lame one... haha... will be lookin forward 2 learnin' more rolls n fills from my drum teacher... I've started 'chasing' another HK serial again... i'm not too sure of the title though... wathced the first six episodes last night alone... nineteen to go... hmmm... i must remember i have THREE tests next week alone... sigh... so much for the festive ( and birthday ;) ) season... I haven't bn to any morning class for the past few weeks... cos i tend to wake up after noon... bad habit huh... can't kick it off... simply terrible... A time to rejoice... it's gettin' closer to Xmas n NY... yeh! Any of u guys went 4 d Xmas party in Danga Bay last nite?... I didn't go so I wouldn't know how it was... some hyperactive buddies of mine were up to some skoolboy mischief there... nothin' major... took up d VIP cushion seats nonchalantly til shooed away... made some food from d VIP tent 'disappear'... jokers... were there any fireworks btw?... a fortnight ago i happen to stop by for awhile durin' some open house there and there was an AWESOME display of fireworks which lasted for like 15 mins... simply spectacular... Still undecided on where to celebrate these comin' weekends... hmmm.... probably go check out the web 4 ideas... :)

Well... i did a good deed today... brought along a dozen coursemates to savor some delectable delights at d Nepal restaurant... haha... friendly bunch of waiters there... n delicious curry... since it's a rather new establishment... i'm helpin' them promote their business haha... i gave 'em a positive review didn't i? Christmas is around d corner as we all know... i was late... (very) for the IK thingy but i thought it was pretty alrite all in all... din get to P&W much though... cos i guess that was durin' d 1st hr... anyway it's good fellowship in the spirit of Xmas... Been watchin' quite a number of DVDs over the past week... ;) I'll finally get some 'formal' music lessons through the drum classes i'm takin for my orchestra subject... lookin' forward to it... i can jus play as much as i want anytime... it's like a free jammin' studio... ahha... much better environment too...

Well... it's not exactly hard to find a satisfying meal in Skudai... u just have to know which places to avoid and where to get edible food... food ain't always edible if u know what i mean... as such... here are some recommendations for you gastronomical pleasure... go indulge! Yup... Thermodynamics test tomorrow... Yet to revise... ;) Watched a number of DVDs for the past few days... been pretty lazy and slackin' since the beginnin' of this sem... cos probably we're takin' less credits as compared to last sem which was quite a rough one... Just did Quiz 1 of MicroP again... cos i think the server was so problematic the lecturer couldn't retrieve our results... Strange Deja Vu... that's an excellent song by DT btw ;) I'm suddenly so into DT and have been watchin' their concert DVD over n over again... listenin' to their commentary about how they play in weird time signatures of 19/16... haha... simply amazing... Rushin' for class now...

It's happened before... It's happenin' again... The server's down... My quiz unaccomplished... Hours wasted... Concentration lost... Clock ticks... Time for dinner... It's midnight and i'm havin my dinner only now cos of the miserable quiz which expires at 2355 hrs...

Wanted to make a U-turn just before the Skudai toll plaza this evening... to meet up with my housemate's mum who drove down from the north... and guess what... they have recently installed permanent barriers to forbid motorists from doing so... instead i had to drive all the way to the next interchange at Senai and back... just to get onto the other side of the highway... reluctantly donating 1.40 to PLUS and wasting fuel... like i've said before... i've a conspiracy theory that PLUS is REALLY trying to sabotage me...

Haven't stepped into a club for the past three months and finally i did again... Stephanie JB ain't exactly the most fun place to club at but there ain't much choice anyway... probably will hang out at Platinum next time cos they have a better crowd... bigger dancefloor... and no irritating live band... yeah... :) But still... if only i were in sg... then i'd be dancing on the sand and sea at zoukout last night...

Trying to signup and access the FKE Moodle server to do my quiz is turning out to be much more of a quiz itself as i have only 45 minutes left to the completion deadline at 1800 and i'm still unable to access the server from CICT even after multiple attempts... so much for bein' tech-savvy... i've already sent a complaint email to the lecturer and asked others to do the same... what kind of MicroP quiz is this when the server isn't able to provide the needed bandwith for the students... what a waste of my time pressing the browser's reload button umpteen times... Maybe this is the quiz itself... he's quizzing us on how to access a 'down' server... testin' us on hackin' skills perhaps?
