Piece of Mind

Appearances are nothing more but a facade... after a late night chat with some old friends at a stall... and a rather insightful n frank statement/remark from one of 'em... it came to my realization that beneath our many similar interests and lifestyles and seemingly happy-go-lucky & all-is-fine lives... much more lurks within our being... feelings, problems and angst kept inside more often than not... guys in general do not always display their emotions outwardly... and they more often than not keep to themselves whatever troubles them... as guy outings normally meant gaming, playin' billiards, drinking, soccer (playing/watching), jamming and casual chatter like music, sports and etc... not the kind of heart-to-heart talk that most guys would feel awkward with... in a group especially... but nevertheless... i guess there exists a need in many of them to communicate with their (close) friends on a more personal level when faced with despair... as cheerful as everyone may seem... there's a whole lot of complications that lie beneath... as i have observed... so... reach out to a friend today...
