summer is slowly slipping away green leaves are fading to brown what was once a sunny day is now turning into a cloudy one summer passed by in a blink of an eye before he knew it she was gone with the breeze like withering leaves in autumn he fell fast to the bottom summer was short and sweet but he didn't have enough of it now she's cold like the wind that blows and soon enough it'll start to snow summer doesn't know she will be missed he's hoping that she never has to leave as disappointed as he may be seasons change and so will she
